Information Institute Receives U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) National Leadership Grant on E-government services.

The Information Institute, with the American Library Association, the University of Maryland Center for Library and Information Innovation, and the University of Illinois will work together on developing a Web resource to help libraries and governments better assist users with successfully engaging in e-government activities.

Charles R. McClure, Director of the Information Institute noted that the three year project will ultimately result in a range of web-based E-government services that will significantly improve the ability of librarians and government officials to provide better and more efficient E-government services.
