The Institute is involved heavily in the development and maintenance of library statistics and performance indicator standards through participation in both the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) and International Standards Organization (ISO) related committees and work activities. The Institute places a particular emphasis on the adoption of network statistics into the workflow of the NISO/ISO committees and working groups.
