Summary

Ms. Lanz has been a Research Associate at the Information Institute since October 2009. Her interests include public library disaster preparedness, the roles of public libraries in E-Government information access, and information policy. She has worked on the Hurricane Preparedness and Response Project, including further development of the project web site, and its evaluation. Prior to coming to the Institute she worked in public library systems in Louisiana and Florida.

Elena holds a BA in English from the University of California, Los Angeles and a MS in Library and Information Science from Florida State University.
