Project Description

The Evaluation Decision Making System (EDMS) is a centralized public access portal designed to provide information related to evaluation of a library's services and resources for management and advocacy purposes. Please follow the link to the EDMS web site: http://www.libevaluation.com/edms/

This research project will provide library managers, researchers, students, and other interested individuals with an analysis of:

• Leading evaluative approaches used in a public library setting;
• Strengths and weaknesses of each approach;
• Success with which libraries have employed the different approaches;
• How situational factors within library settings affect the successful use of these approaches; and
• Types of data each approach provides and how each data type is related to specific library services, resources, and programs;
