E-Government Meeting December 6-8, 2006
This by invitation meeting is an excellent opportunity to bring together key experts knowledgeable about local, state, and federal E-government; public librarians involved in delivering E-government services; academics who have studied the topic; and others who have specific knowledge and insights regarding E-government.
This meeting will provide a forum to discuss (1) the evolving roles of public libraries as sources of and access to local, state, and federal E-government services, (2) strategies by which federal, state, and local governments can better coordinate their E-government efforts through public libraries, and (3) an agenda for next steps to assist public libraries and Federal, State, and Local Government be more effective in the delivery of E-government services.
