Bertot on NPR

John Carlo Bertot, the professor of the College of Information at Florida State University and associate director of the Information Use Management and Policy Institute, received an interview from National Public Radio (NPR) on September 19 regarding the role of libraries in disasters.

During the interview, Bertot talked about the important role of public libraries in disaster relief. Bertot says "libraries are a logical place for people to get online after a disaster, in part because library buildings are often the sturdiest in many towns."

The interview is up now on the NPR program Future Tense titled "Internet a basic need after disasters." The website can be found from: http://www.publicradio.org/columns/futuretense/
